XOOPS 2.5.0 is very good.
There are many positive changes in a core of system which will allow to simplify now a code of a theme for XOOPS (for example smarty function block - Thanks Trabis).
I regret, that have excluded jquery.prettyPhoto.
Many thanks to developers! Small remarks are available, but they are not essential to me.

I am happy to hear that 2.5.0 will simplify your theme development!

I really cannot say often enough how great job the Core team did. We've finally joined the 21st Century!

And this is only the beginning

To remain in 21 century to developers of modules it is necessary to create modules separately for XOOPS 2.5.x (the code becomes much purer). In my opinion it should accelerate transition of users to new versions XOOPS. The history with IE6 should not repeat.
