Re: MyLinks 3.11 RC2 Ready for Testing

Just noticed the below errors... I must have missed them in preliminary testing

Warning: include_once(../class/utility.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open streamNo such file or directory in file /modules/mylinks/blocks/mylinks_rand.php line 29

Warning
: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening '../class/utility.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php'in file /modules/mylinks/blocks/mylinks_rand.php line 29

The random block does however appear to be functioning perfectly though

Cheers,
Marty.

Re: MyLinks 3.11 RC2 Ready for Testing

Sorry about that, although annoying it won't cause any problems. That file include is no longer necessary so you can just comment out line 29 in ./blocks/mylinks_top.php
//    include_once '../class/utility.php';

I'm pretty sure you meant ./blocks/mylinks_rand.php

I did this and no more errors and the random link block works perfectly.

Thanks,
Marty.

Re: MyLinks 3.11 RC2 Ready for Testing

First, thank you Zyspec, to have updated the module MyLink

Advice, remember to update the module to this link when you found and correct the error, for example:

//    include_once '../class/mylinks_rand';

Then, I found some errors:

1 -
'/class/module.errorhandler.php' is deprecated since XOOPS 2.5.4please create your own error messages instead.

2 - When I set permissions, I have this message :
_MD_AM_DBUPDATED
instead of a sentence.

3 - When I go to:
mylinks/atom.php
modules/mylinks/rss.php

error on line 31 at column 1Extra content at the end of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error
.

Re: MyLinks 3.11 RC2 Ready for Testing

Cesag,

Thank you for testing this release. Here are a few comments.

Quote:

1 - '/class/module.errorhandler.php' is deprecated since XOOPS 2.5.4, please create your own error messages instead.

This is a warning from XOOPS core. This functionality will be replaced in a future version of Mylinks. This will not interfere with operation. I will place a note in the release documentation stating that this warning is expected in XOOPS 2.5.4+

Quote:

2 - When I set permissions, I have this message :
_MD_AM_DBUPDATED
instead of a sentence.

This will be changed in 6 places to _MD_MYLINKS_DBUPDATED.

Quote:

3 - When I go to:
mylinks/atom.php
modules/mylinks/rss.php

error on line 31 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

Please try this again with debug turned off.

Now I have this:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with itThe document tree is shown below.

Re: MyLinks 3.11 RC2 Ready for Testing

Thank you Cesag. I will try and test this again. Can you tell me which browser (and version) you are using so I can try and duplicate the issue?
