To whom it may concern:

I just finished implementing an XOOPS LAMP server, to address a need for project management at work... I just installed the wsProject module, but cannot add a new project.

Is this some sort of bug, I installed the latest module for wsProject.

I would have attached a screen shot, but do not see an option for that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

xoops007

wsProject ? I'm not sure that is the best choice.

To manage content, you should try Fmcontent module :https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=5943

I assume you're attempting to use wsProject 1.04 from SVN? This module has not been updated in some time. I quickly looked at it and there's a few things that would need to be changed in the module to bring it up to date.

First you would need to change all occurrances of $HTTP_GET_VARS and $HTTP_POST_VARS with $_GET and $_POST respectively.

You will also need to modify ./sql/mysql.sql to change all occurances of 'TYPE=MyISAM;' with 'ENGINE=MyISAM;'.

I'm sure there are probably other changes that will be required to get it fully functional but those are needed to get it installed and at least let you get further. I did not look at the module for security but any module this old should be looked at closely for XSL, injection, etc. to minimize any issues.

Hope this helps get you started.

Hi There Novlang1984,

Thank you for the advice. I uninstalled wsProject, and copied over the FMcontent module. I am receiving this error message...

set XOOPS_TRUST_PATH into mainfile.php

I am researching this as I post this.

Thanks again for your help,

xoops007

If you are looking for a content module try XCenter 2.15 - Let me know if you have any problems you can get it off the SVN or from www.chronolabs.coop

Hi wishcraft,

I am having trouble installing the module. Or, it is not showing up under modules when I move the mod to /var/www/xoops-2.0.16/htdocs/modules

Are there any instructions for installing the module?

Thank you for your efforts,

xoops007

FYI

I installed the latest version of xoops (2.5.1a) - I can't believe I even bothered with xoops-2.0.16.

Night and Day in comparison.
