Links to PDFs don't work in firefox 3.x

Hi,

When I have links to PDFs in my site, they open OK in IE 8. With various versions of firefox 3.x and Adobe Reader the final slash before the name of the file shows as \ instead of / and the file is not found.

If I manually change this in the URL then it will open.

How can I fix this so that my PDFs will open in both IE and firefox?

It occurs in a static page module I built.

They are html links like this and as mentioned it works in IE 7 and 8:

href="newsletter\KLA_NL_Spring2009.pdf" title="KLA Spring 2009 Newletter" target="_blank">KLA Spring 2009 Newsletter</a>

Yes that solution works great for me in both IE and Firefox 3x.
