Good day.
Can some one please tell me how to use captcha within a module?
Is there some kind of tutorial which explains how to use captcha in order to avoid spam?

Which module are you targetting?
An explaination for use of the standard XOOPS captcha (ver 2.3.x) is in the header of /class/xoopsform/xoopscaptcha.php .

More info of how to implement the security image of DuGris (other captcha system) in various modules can be found in this thread.

Thank you for your replies. Help from the XOOPS community is great!
In one of the sites I did some time ago, (used XOOPS 2.2.3 final version) came up a problem with spam. I wanted to use the newest extented profile (which comes with captcha feature) but I did not managed to do so. Now, I will try the directions of the posts above.
