Hey,

I'd like to set up 3 groups for my xoops, my users can choose one of 3 to join. Rather than me assign them individually or have them based on post count, is there any way I can let them choose at registration?

As alternative there were 2 modules:

-Registration Codes (some info here):
https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=23504&viewmode=flat&order=ASC&start=0#forumpost102659

As far as I remember, they will asign users to group based on a key/code entered by user on registration, but I never used those modules on live/production site.
