Hey,

I'd like to set up 3 groups for my xoops, my users can choose one of 3 to join. Rather than me assign them individually or have them based on post count, is there any way I can let them choose at registration?

Thanks!

aah got it!

Sorted now, thanks for the help. If anyone else out there wants to clone a template it's really easy just go to templates in the admin section and click the link saying clone!

hey,

i was wondering if it was possible to cut down the info given in the 'recent topics' block of the forums modules (the standard one that comes with xoops)

Right now ive clicked don't show full info but the block shows, topic name, replies and last post with date. Ideally id like the block just to shot the topic and number of replies or just the topic alone.

I havent got a clue where to start on doing that so any advice would be excellent.

Thanks in advance.

no blanks in the filename. Ive tried gif, jpg, jpeg and bmp files (not a clue what that xbm one was haha!) all seem to fail but only on the avatar upload. I'm fine with uploads to the Myalbum gallery I have installed so I don't think it's the folder I'm having a problem with (unless I need to set one up just for avatars??) no php problems are showing either, that's why I came here, I couldn't figure out where I was going wrong!

Hey all, I've tried a quick search through these forums but havent found an answer to my problem (yet!)

I'm running XOOPS 2.0.13.2 and have set custom avatars on. I've tried uploading different files of varying sizes and file extensions but each time i get the error 'invalid file content'.

I know uploading images works for other modules (I use Myalbum with no problems) and I'm not getting any PHP errors so I'm kind of stumped as to what the problem could be..

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
