Check to see if your php.ini is configured to allow fopen().
If it is like the weather module I have it won't work unless fopen() is enabled.
I am using Simple Weather Module posted by dpfresh. You can see it running on his site here. It still works as you can see. The problem is the dev.xoops site is down and thats where the download for it is.
I am running version 1.3 and it works fine. Send me a PM and I'll get it loaded up for you somewhere and you can grab it.

I have to agree with Peekay. I was using Liaise but it has no feature to help stop spam like Contact 1.6 does. And Contact 1.6 is a bit more cleaner looking in it's layout.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of Contact Us v1.6 for XOOPS 2.2.4 developed by seventhseal?
His website IBDeeming is down and I can't seem to find this module anywhere.
There seems to be little to no developement of a contact us/feedback module with security support (anti-spam) and Contact Us v1.6 for XOOPS 2.2.4 has this great feature.
If anyone has this module available it would be greatly appreciated.

What version of MS-Weather are you using? What fix are you talking about exactly? I also noticed you renamed the module to XP-Weather. If you did a hack of the module name and didn't change every file correctly that could be a cause of the problem.
I believe MS-Weather gets it's info from Yahoo. If Yahoo has changed their site then the module may need to be fixed (hacked) to reflect any changes Yahoo may have made in order to correctly collect the weather info.

Has the development for the Goole Map module died? Has anyone else been able to fix the zoom level problem?

I recently upgraded from Google Map module 0.3 to 0.4 and I noticed that the map points no longer zoom to their preset level. When I click a map point the map moves to that point and the info flag opens up but it never zooms to the level set for that point. I followed all of the upgrade instructions. I even backed up version 0.3 completely uninstalled it and installed version 0.4 from scratch and I still get the same results. The category zoom level seems to be working fine it's just te map point zoom level that is not working. It stays at the zoom level of the category.
My XOOPS install is as follows:
-Windows 2000
-Apache 1.3.33
-PHP 4.4.1
-MySQL 4.1.14
-Xoops 2.2.4
-Google Map 0.4
Has anyone else run into this problem and do you have a fix?

Good question actually. Personally I have found it hard to even find 2.2+ themes. I am working on a site for my work so everything I do has to be at no cost to me if possible. I know my work sure as heck wont pay for it. I have found a few good themes. Red and black or grey are what I use on my site since those go well with the company logos etc. I'm currently using a slightly modified version of geometric_red. I took a look at what you have to offer and they look nice, real professional.
Why people don't leave comments I am not to sure. If I like something (or don't) I'll say something. Feedback is always a good thing. One indicator that may help when people don't leave feedback may be the amount of downloads you get on each theme whether free or not. Yeah they may just download it and not use it but at least they were currious enough to download it to begin with. If they did in deed pay for it that may be an indication that they are or will use it in there site.
