Hi,

I was wondering if any other wiki besides bluetopia's phpwiki port, I love wikis and would write a module if i knew how ;) but it seems that this module is no longer supported as most docs I find are from 2003 or begining of 2004... and Id love to use it but am having some pretty big issues with it, for 1 I can't dump the wiki pages and back them up via the phpwiki module.

if anyone has any ideas or clues about updating the module or know of any other wikis for XOOPS could ya let us all know

Cheers
Rip

I just recently made phpWiki version 1.2.9 (the current stable version) into a XOOPS module. It's been tested under XOOPS 2.0.2. Pages are stored in the XOOPS database, so for dumping and backing up the wiki pages, you could use, for example, the phpMyAdmin XOOPS module. I'm about to contact the XOOPS organizers about contributing this phpwiki module to the XOOPS module repository.

Look forward to seeing this.

Is it possible to lock the contents so only authorised posters can change them?

Hummm... I kind of like wikies too... Wiwi and pukiwiki seem to work fine with XOOPS 2.0.x...

I like DokuWiki. There's a thread about it here in the forums and a walkthrough on integrating available. It's a little different from most in that it's a plain text rather than database-driven wiki.

You can also check bluemoon's modified Pukiwikimod.

http://www.bluemooninc.biz/~xoops2/modules/pukiwiki/?WhiteBoard

Pukiwikimod is a bit slower than bwiki. But it has more functionality when it comes to user permission. (Though, I personally prefer bwiki. :-p)

Anyway, have a look on its "Post-It plugin" at very least. It's really an astonishing feature!

..yes, the post-it feature on pukiwiki is really wacky.. Could do with better integration of rss though..

re. dokuwiki. I really like it's simplicity and menu making feature, but the integration with XOOPS is still a bit flacky...

Where do I find bwiki..?
