I started using XOOPS approximately 3 months ago. I have added many modules since then and have become fair proficient at customizing the program to fit our needs. If you would like to take a look at the site here is the address.

I am really happy that I decided to go with XOOPS it works perfectly for this purpose.

jtaylor you create a very nice site.
using XOOPS faq for start page is shown a new face of XOOPS but why not smart faq?
and its very amazing that you have a lot of contents in your site
just my 2 cents
good luck in design

Thanks for taking a look at my site. I was thinking of switching to Smart FAQ. I am just a little reluctant to change anything as everything is working so well. You know the old expression, "if it's not broken don't fix it". I don't really use the FAQ anyways, the questions and answers are just a small bit at the bottom of the page. My FAQ really is located in the forum, this seems to be where everyone goes anyways.
Thanks again. I will check your site out when I have a bit more time.

James, you have achieved a lot in three months ! The site looks very well constructed and well stocked as well.

Good to see XOOPS artistic as well as technological expressions.

There is just a little bit of code breaking through in your footer, so take a look.

Hi! What XOOPS modules are being used for the poetry publications? I was curious if there was a poetry specific module for a personal site I'm working on. I read the following thread and am considering AMS:

Thanks and good job!

A beautiful website with beautiful content. I take it you are using a modified version of news for the submissions?

Very nice site. Nice layout, and I think the colors go well with the subject of the site. Well done.

Yes, very nice.
Just one idea - how about reducing the number of blocks that a visitor gets to see when they first load your start page? For me its appears a bit chaotic and at the moment your "Most Popular Small Poem Library Poems" block gets too little width when the browser window is much smaller than 1000 pixels wide. This then causes the entries to break to a second line.
Best wishes,
Alan
