I've noticed on a few sites that, there are chat modules where the site admin can see who's online and send them a message that asks them if they require help at all, if they click yes a simple chat window will open. This all happens without the user having to be logged in and with no downloads or plugins on the users part. I've searched to see if a module exists for XOOPS but with no luck. Does anyone know if one exists??????

How does the admin do who is online without a login?? There is no id unless IP is all that required. AFAIK there is no XOOPS module like this. Zentracks aha a customer help thingy, but not as you describe.

I know what your looking for, but so far as I know, nothing has been ported to Xoops. You may have to go the third party route and provide a link in a custom block. Simple answer, but easiest way to go for now without getting into the complexities of integrating your own third party scripts.

Theres also HelpCenterLive - although this did cause me some problems with my XOOPS install originally... it now lives on the same server without clashing :)

That help centre live looks like the kind of thing I was after, would have been nice though to have it as a XOOPS module to work with 'who's online' block, so you could initiate a chat with them. Maybe some of the clever guys and girls on here could turn it into a XOOPS module **Hint** **Hint**
