Try and answer them all if you can.

1.) Does XOOPS come with it's own forums or do I need to do something to get forums on my XOOPS site?

2.) How would I get rid of all the stuff on the right site of the site when I am on the forums? So that I can stretch the forums part in the center to the end of the page without anything going off the side of the page. An explanation how to do this exactly would be appeciated!

1) XOOPS comes with it's own core forum module, although several third party forums have also been ported including yabb and ivpb.

2) The layout of the site, and any module in particular is accomplished through the selection of "blocks" and defining which ones appear in which screen region and with which module's pages.

Administration Menu>System Admin>Blocks>"Blocks Administration"

There you can achieve pretty much what ever you'd like !
