I am making good progress on putting the city choice feature back in.
Took awhile to figure out their schema.
Should have that done cleanly today.
Then need to clean up the code quite a bit and publish.
Should be a few days.
Stay tuned.

OK, it's official, gardenguy ROCKS!!!

Thanks, man!

Since I have no clue what XOOPS is, I am not sure what version of ms-weather you guys use here. The version I use is Quote:
/* MS-Weather: class.msweather.php */
/* v3.0c 11-07-2003 FOR PHP-NUKE 6.5 */
It was from Maty-scripts who has disappeared from the scene.
Is this what you have been using for XOOPS?

There is a XOOPS specific version for XOOPS. The latest rev is 1.4 .

I doubt very much that I will take the time to port this to XOOPS since I have no way to test it nor interest in learning something new.
So what I have done is download the version just revealed to me (thanx kapeman). I have some file compare s/w and if it turns out not to be TOO hard, I may (he said may) post a new file.
More likely I will describe the key changes and you guys will have to hack your files.
In the progress department, I still have some formatting issues with non USA info which I am struggling to understand, so now it will take longer than originally planned.
I have attempted email contact with the XOOPS version to see if they might be interested in porting my phpNuke code.
Stay tuned and be patient.
Thanks

If the makers of the original module cannot be contacted or cannot do it, maybe they would allow someone else to port your version?????

Any status on this yet?

For the heck of it I re-tried some other modules yesterday. I forgot how bad they all suck compared to this one, haha.

If you cant port it to xoops, I'll take the copy you have and see what I can do. Im sure someone here (xoops.org) can help me or kapeman port the thing........I hope

I just have to bump this up and hope that gardenguy is able to make some headway or at least grok it out enough for some other modder to fix it.

If I didn't work 50 hours a week and have two small children, I WOULD learn enough php to fix it myself, but as it is...

I have to echo n01un0's words that all the other weather modules can't compare to this one.

Thanks to any and all that help out with this.

I have done no further work on this since I have a servicable hack on my php-nuke site.
I have been very busy doing other stuff and do not at this time intend to do anymore on this module.
Sorry to get your expectations up.
I came to this site looking for help myself, and instead found others needing help for a branch I am not familiar with.
My hack is so tangled up that I will not share it.
If there is a stretch of lousy weather (I mean the real weather) I may have some time to do coding, but right now the gardens take up all my spare time as we are in a wonderful spell of great days out there in mother nature....

Gardenguy: I too am using PHP Nuke. Would you possibly reconsider sharing that version of your hack? I don't care what it looks like I just need one that works!
