This turns the tag module into something "useful" (for me at least), though it "begs" for a bit of attention ..
The concept is good as it gives the option to explore the site by "phrase" instead of "module".

That's great! Can somebody test it that it works in various configurations?

Tested under Hebrew + English (If hebrew works I think all UTF langs will be O.K.)
under 3 modules: NewBB 4.06 , Article 3.0 . Tag module (latest)
works fine with 2 . 3. 4. 5. words (probably endless) ...

But - again - it's not enough, tag module is a semantic bridge between modules - important as if it was a core module, needs to be taken care of .... not just a litlle bug fixes ....

So... is it a go ?

I use a hyphen. Like xoops-module. It's less ugly, than
xoops_module, and from what I read some time ago, google
ignores the hyphen,but not the underscore.

Two words with space would certainly be better.

Test it and see - as I said - works for me under 3 Xoops versions and 2 different languages - isn't it enough for you for "a go" ?

No, having more than one person saying it works for them would be a go.

I don't program and use caution before hacking code. I was
wondering if anyone else had any success. Is that okay with you

It did work for me on Spanish Language xoops site.

check this post and under tags

Tag as a phrase

if you notice at bottom of the article

Tags: Harold Mayne-Nicholls Entrevista


the tag Harold Mayne-Nicholls is converted into just 1 phrase

and it will show in tags module like this

http://www.futbolchileno.com/modules/news/view.tag.php/Harold+Mayne-Nicholls

Another example:http://www.futbolchileno.com/noticias.item.2823/santiago-wanderers-consiguio-agonico-triunfo-ante-san-felipe-en-playa-ancha.html

Santiago Wanderers is converted into Santiago+Wanderers

San Felipe is converted into San+Felipe


So it works!!

It depends on which version you get. Neither the trunk nor Mamba's branch have this updated. The branch by Arion92fr appears to have it updated for both the english and french languages although I don't know what other changes may have been made in that version.

Looks like Mamba's version has been updated to the latest Blue Move Admin GUI.

If the version you have is working, I'd recommend just making the 2 changes outlined by tzvook for now...

Cifug, please make those changes as Zyspec suggested, and if it works and you're happy with it, then we'll add it to the next release

As always, we need some tests and confirmation from users that it works...
