Is there a way in your module to have it not record a certain ip. I know some stats allow you to not keep stats on our ip address. I was wondering if its already abailable how to do this, or if not, can it be intergrated later.

Oh i forgot to mention, I know it doesn't record you when your an admin, but I don't have it to remember my password when I join all the time. So that first hit always pollutes the stats.

So is ther a way to just not record stats for an ip, no mater if its anonymous or registered or admin.

Hello Cmatt,
I don't know if I'll succeed but I'll try to add those features in istats:
- Server timezone utilization
- Users or Groups not to be counted
- Number of pages viewed per month, per year
And others minors things.
For the moment, I have no idea when it'll be done.

Keep up the good work everyone. I was also looking for a stat module when I ran across this posting. Cool. Thanks very much.

it would be nice if you could include or exclude user system with admin preferences..

It is what I thought while saying: Users or Groups not to be counted.

One more question about istats:

Hardlly, I've let this module count visits but now I have another problem.

Is tere a way I can add my past 17.000 visits to istats counter?
It has started from " 0 " which means I've lost all other visits from my old counter module.

Thanks

Hello Elvir

Of course there is a way, but what do you want exactly?
Do you only want to increment your total of visits or add in istats all your past statistics?

For the second case, I/we need to know which script you were using and what was stored in the tables.

Yes, I want to add all my stats I had before, No. of visits.

I used the module that was modified from a simple flash counter released by bbchen from www.bbchen.org.

It uses flash for visual and *.txt as database for recording the stats.

It doesn't have anything to do with sql tables or something.

I mean, it's not big deal, but I have such a number off visits I want to have added to new istats.

The new istats is great, looks good, especially User avatar block. Great !!!

Possible to add old stats or not, it has started count the visits.

Thanks
