I found a site that has the smilies and avatars, but I can't remember the address. I have the files, if you want them. But I'm not sure if I can upload them here.

There used to be avatars and smilies that can be downloaded in the download section. Does anyone know where they went to. I would like to add new avatars and smilies to my XOOPS site.

Doesn't matter whether it's turkey or Indians. You're right, I haven't seen any Thanksgiving theme either. Only if I was talented, I would have created one. But since I'm not artisticly blessed, I'll have to wait for someone to come up with one.

Is it possible to have an outbox for the XOOPS messaging system? It would be nice to have a history of sent messages.

outgoing messages in inbox

Is there anyway that I can view messages that were sent out to other users via the inbox feature of xoops. I can only see incoming messages.

If it's not available with the base version, is there a module available that can do this.

When I go and change an existing avatar, why does XOOPS say that my old avatar will be deleted. I tested it out and the file was actually deleted from the system. So I changed the permission to 444, XOOPS no longer deletes it, but the avatar no longer shows up on the list. Since it's a system avatar, shouldn't it still be there, even after I pick a new one.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

BTW, I really like Xoops. I switched from TikiWiki because XOOPS looks so much better.
