i suppose the easiest way to get round this is as i did on my site..
i installed using www.domain.co.uk
i then setup in my control panel for the server..
www.domain.com this will redirect to www.domain.co.uk
domain.co.uk redirects to www.domain.co.uk
domain.com redirects to www.domain.co.uk
of course you can do these anyway round if u wish..
that way it makes no difference what url a user types, they will always be redirected to the www.domain.co.uk address by using the dns settings..
on my previous site b4 changing to xoops.. i had my forum at forum.domain.com
so i created this in my new server host control panel and setup a redirect to point to (forum.domain.com) redirects to www.domain.co.uk/modules/ipboard
this way any1 still using the forum.domain url can still reach the forum with it..
