my stupid host strikes again..
pushing all the problems back to me..

My domain registration has expired..
but i renewed it already..
and the it stated expiraring date is is 2005

but then its stated the domain is put ON HOLD

due to this.. i can't access my site.

how do i deal with this? How can i put my site running again.

please help

For temporary access, you should be able to FTP into the server and change the XOOPS_URL part of mainfile.php to be what your host gave you as your alternate url... It should be something like

http://server19.host-name.net/~limecity

or something to that effect. If you change that, then you'll at least be able to get in until your domain is fixed =)

now i don't know what else i can do to change the HOLD status back to normal.

i contact the registrar and they said my site inaccessable is not because of the HOLD status..

its because of this

they said the site don't have A record. whatever tat means.


Host A = new host
Host B = previous host

i transfer my domain over from B to A.
and both kept pushing the problem around..

A ask me to look for B..
then B ask me look for A then A ask me look for the registrar.. then registrar said the problem lies in A.

then A said B still handling my domain reg.
and now B check on whois and stated A is holding my domain and nothing to do with them anymore..

i paid my domain fee to host A already. and now they are requesting for another fee to handle the domain registration.

Your web IP is also the DNS1 and mailserver IP for onestopserver.com

You really don't want your host to put the DNS server on the webserver they are selling. I would not use such a host for sure.

If you had to pay additional fee, you might want to find a new domain host (godaddy is one) and web host (surpassing hosting?). With their record, if I were you, I would avoid your current hosts at all costs.

Try to separate the two so you don't end up being taken hostage by the web host company.

i wish i can buy the services from outside my country but the problem is i have no way to paying those outside the nation. no paypal and no credit cards.
