Missing all block info

Things were going along just fine, using XOOPS 2.0.6!

Today, all of my block information has disappeared. Block Admin has no block details whatsoever, and no blocks display at all throughout the site. Funnily enough, the main page appears ok, though nothing else.

I have been updating and editing themes, though this problem effects all themes, even ones I've not touched.

All modules still work fine. No blocks appear anywhere but the main page though.

This is kinda urgent, and I'd highly appreciate if anyone at all could give me information on what files I may need to replace, or what may have happened in the first place?

Umm, help!

Editing themes can do funny things to your site, as I've discovered. I ALWAYS fiddle with themes on my local machine before running them live.

Best I can suggest, is to select a standard theme and see if that works. You may even have to edit your database to have the default theme show.

I've edited the _MD_AM_DTHEME db value back to 'default' which has not resolved the problem

I managed to get into the web Admin area, deselected all 'available' themes, and edited the default theme to 'default'.

Now I'm white screening :(

Any ideas, anyone?

Strange - the problem comes and goes. Whenver I close the site and look around, a few minutes later the problem disappears

I've enabled php debug now, and all I see is a handful of notices and the odd warning.

What about MySQL/Block debug info? Do you get any error messages?

This problem seems to have corrected itself, without intervention. Weird. Thanks all for your input.

I suspect it was related to a problem with my hosts server configuration / php configuration. Would this be a correct assumption?

My guess would be the database. I'd try checking the database table integrity (using the db management tool provided by your hosting provider), and indeed checking the host's website for any upgrades or recent changes made.

Thanks Herko. I just followed your suggestion and the only problem or warning I came across was the following,

x clients is using or hasn't closed the table properly

where x is a number, from 1 to 18. This message appears frequently.
