The hack is working pretty fine except for this : things like User menu etc that remains in the language used in the blocks.
I know it's possible to have this solved since I saw some sites working fine with that too. Where did i go wrong ?

you have just to edit the name of your block
ie : [fr]Menu Utilisateur[/fr][en]User Menu[/en]

Well I've done that before. And the results can be seen right here !

The 3 languages show up at the same time. It's not exactly what I'm looking for !

Hi javali, I just visited your site and I find it very strange what happens in the block's title. My first question would be : are you using the latest version oh the hack that can be found here : XOOPS Multilanguage 1.2

Alos, are you using XOOPS 2.06 ?

Cheers !

yes markan ! XOOPS 2.06 and last version of ML (1.2)
I thought it could have to do with the header.php file that has been modified (because of my theme) but when I put your header.php the problem still remains.
Everything that had to be checked has been checked as far as I know... Oh let me try with another theme who knows !And i get back to you !
Well I've just done it finally ! I had to put my theme to default and i can't use my favorite Techdigi theme anymore. Stiil one thing though : my main menu = menu principal isn't trilingual yet : only home is being translated. Where do I have to toggle to have this solved ?

Now it's OK. I had to do the whole translation of modules in admin--- modules.
Like this [fr]Sondages[/fr][br]Enquetes[/br][en]Polls[/en].
I had done it before but with my former Techdigi theme.
Now tell me all of you : is there any way around to have this Techdigi theme running at the same time with ML hack. That would be nice, woulnd't it !

Yes there surely is a work around. I'll have to look at the theme bundle to see how it is done. As soon as I have some time, I'll check that and get back to you on that.

Cheers !

Hi Guys,

I'm having the same problem. What I did was to add a new block with a multi-language title and simple multi-lang HTML content. The result is that only the Block title gets translated, and the content shows all the three languages. XOOPS is 2.0.6 and ML is 1.2
I tried moving to the default theme, but it didn't help.
I also reinstaled the multilanguage hack with no success.

As far as I remember, The ML-1.2 changelog stated that blocks work OK - both title and content

Any ideas/workarounds?
the site i'm experimenting on is here

10x in advance

OK, as Murphy always seems on top, I found the answer just after I posted the message
SORRY

Now, since that has costed me Quite some time to figure out I decided to post it

Do WHATEVER you want with your block title/content, add as many language tags as you want in both places, just FOR GOD'S SAKE, DONT'T USE "HTML" as Content Type.
Use "Auto Format" <- one of the two.

Not invoking the textSanitizer in "HTML" content may be a feature, but I'd consider it a big.

Hope I've helped
