Under Admin->Banners->Edit Banner, what does "Add more impressions" do?

When you set up a banner you add a "client" then you can set it to "unlimited impressions" by typing "0" in. Impressions means "hits". You might have a banner client advertising on your site who has purchased a number of hits from you. If you initially set the banner up with a limited number of hits, then the "edit banner" screen allows you to add more.

It is really just a count function which tells you the number of hits and the number purchased

So whatever number I put in the box is the maximum times that banner will be shown?
