This is an update and bugfix to the previous version 1.0.5.

I have released this as a RC in the hope to iron out any bugs left in there and possible feedback.

WF-Channel_v1.0.6 RC1

You will not need to use the upgrade.php script if you have updated to the last version 1.0.5. All other previous versions will have to use the update script.

Fixed a minor bug.

I would really like feedback on this module please, good or bad, even if you do not plan to use it. I need this before I can complete the documents and release it as a full version module.

I believe this version to be just about bug free.

I'm currently using v1.02, and as I posted in the other forum, for some reason it no longer saves topics to the db. There is no php/mysql error, the only error is the message "FAQ was NOT saved".

Is this indicative of anything? If I can't get this working again I'll have to look to some other module for my documents.

I didn't have any plans for it, but I installed it to make sure it worked ok. On first run and tests, everything seems to be in order on my end.

Just a quick question on the default page you have included with the module. Is it supposed to be center aligned or is it a browser thing?

I guess if thats my only question, everything is up and running as it should 'eh?

One thing I really like about this is the submenu, makes things much easier for me and looks great. Thanks for the great work Catz!

Sounds like a database issue, did you use the upgrade.php script that came with it?

Check that the tables in the database are exactly the same as the in sql/wfchannel.sql file, I would bet that something has gone wrong there.

I've added new channels and adjusted the module permissions, still only registered users (and not the anonymous users) can see the new added channels. Smells like a bug.

Download the updated files fromhttp://www.wfsections.xoops2.com/downloads/wfchannel_v1.0.6RC1.zip

They worked for me. I had the same problem and this solved it.

Just copy the entire download over your existing 1.0.6 files. No database update required. (Unless otherwise specified)
