Hi Everyone,

Can anyone one tell me if there is a way to setup XOOPS so the REGISTER option is not available and so the webmaster/administrator creates the user accounts on behalf of his/her users.

Hello yogiman

If you go to system admin/preferences user info settings you can disable new user registration. Although this is disabled you can still add users yourself.

In the login-box template you can take the reference to user registration

system admin/templates

Choose "system" and click "list" and look for "system_block_login.html"

and take out a line that looks like this:

<{$block.lang_registernow}>

That worked a treat thank you!

However I find that regardless of what I set my font to it always appears to stay the same! Very odd. But then again so am I!
