What happened to my admin menus?

i was working on my XOOPS site then for some reason, the next time i refresh the screen, my admin menu has disappeared.

the last thing i did was post a news story. not a big deal....

If you go into your cache folder, and delete "adminmenu.php", the next time you go into admin you should get a message "this is you first visit" etc, XOOPS should then hopefully rebuild your admin menu.
