Hey everyone !
I just install XOOPS for our Lab Community in campus. But strange.... after installation, the three columns (left, center, and right) spread out and some fonts are bigger than others.

As an information, I'm using Windows 2000 Professional with IE 5, resolution 1024x768 32bit.

Firstly, I think there is a broken installer. So I re-download the installer from XOOPS website. But, it happen too in XOOPS website. I'm very confuse of it.

IE 5? Hmm... This looks like a theme issue. What exacly are your server specs (type, version, php version, MySQL version etc.)

My server run on Linux RedHat 9.0, with :
- Kernel 2.4.20-8
- Apache 2.0.40-21
- PHP 4.2.2-17
- MySQL 3.23.54a-11

And the Clients are Ms. Windows 2000 Professional, with :
- Service Pack 4
- Internet Explorer 5.0
- Resolution 1024x768 32bit

Is it a problem on my server ? Or on my clients ? Or in XOOPS source ?

Thanks for all the respons

Try browsing it with at least IE 5.5, but better with IE 6. Try also other browsers like Mozilla. This would help isolate the problem to the theme, i.e. the theme might not be compatible with older browsers.

mmm... obviously the problem is on my Client's browser. It's work fine on IE 6 SP1 and Netscape 7.1

But there is still another problem I've found. When I register with >7 character on username, the same problem re-appear. Also when I post some messages without any spaces on it (like an URL, example: http://pinguin.stttelkom.ac.id/labcnc/modules/newbb/reply.php?forum=27&post_id=76853&topic_id=18151&viewmode=flat&order=).
The centre coloumn doesn't fit on its actual size, but resize according to message's length. It happens on IE 6 and Netscape 7.1

Is it still the browser's problem ???
