Hi !

What and where is the class I can use to create a select box using XoopsForm. I want a SelectBox that contains, for example 3 items. If the user choose the item x then the value y is written in the field of the database.

There is probably a XOOPS class that does that but I did not find it yet.

Anybody can help? An example would be really cool !

Thanks !

If you would like an alternate way of creating forms i use a module called formulair which is an excellent module for creating forms. There have been a few very minor problems with it but it is being fixed now i believe. Just do a search on XOOPS for it.

As for your original question unfortunatly i am not much of a programmer however i hope this helps.

Thanks cuckston,

However, I'm modifying a module, thus I can't use the formulaire modules.

Thanks anyway

Marc-André:

As a francophone you'll find more useful the following contribution by theCat:

Classes de formulaires

In fact, this site has several excellent resources for module writers and xoopsers interested in digging behind the curtains of our favorite CMS.

Cheers.
