Blank start page, after perfect new installation

I made a total new install of XOOPS 2.x with a realtor
everything was perfect with green light indicators in all screens also MySQL database install was perfect - when I came to " see your new install portal " and click on the url link to go to XOOPS I got a white start index page - no loading ?? I never seen this before - and I have help several with XOOPS and never truble about this.

can somebody give me a tips why this happen -

Free tip: Search form in your upper right corner. Use it.

Okay you viking man from Denmark, believe me or not - but I have try put some keywords in to this box but not find any post in forum who got close to my simple problem - therefore I ask, I not ask becourse I have a boring evening - I will try find other keywords and maybe find the post you already know about but I not was lucky to find.

Helllo sol812

Perhaps this post might help you on how to report a blank page and do a debug, and then post the results again. With the current information nobody can assist you I am afraid. XOOPS is setup to do "blank pages" if their is certain types of error's.

I know the wiki site leaves ALOT to be desired... but it should get you going on the right track.

I read the wiki faq, but i cant get into anywhere to login, so everytime i go into admin.php it tells me not authorized, and redirects me back to a blank page.

I been having this problem and have finally figured out how to turn on the debug mode in mysql. I get these errors.


Parse error: parse error, unexpected '}' in C:\Inetpub\wywebsite.net\xoops\html\include\common.php on line 267

Notice: Undefined variable: xoopsConfig in C:\Inetpub\mywebsite.net\xoops\html\header.php on line 29

Notice: Use of undefined constant XOOPS_THEME_PATH - assumed 'XOOPS_THEME_PATH' in C:\Inetpub\mywebsite.net\xoops\html\header.php on line 29

Notice: Undefined variable: xoopsConfig in C:\Inetpub\mywebsite.net\xoops\html\header.php on line 29

Hope this helps in troubleshooting my problem.
