Benell,

It's in the works! I'm trying to make it a neat package that's simply copied on top of a working 2.0.6 instalation.

I'm currently working to build a prefs system for the multilingual hack, which will help simplifying the hack for the novice user. I hope it will be done within the next week - but it all depends on my real work workload. (...and my ability to learn to write a XOOPS module. )

There will be parts of the admin section that won't be translated, and there will be placed in the normal distribution I've overlooked or has not looked into.

You probably have to wait a little longer for it. The work is progressing nicely and the endresult should be well worth waiting for.

What I have seem so far of the work in progress looks very good indeed.

I just spoke to my russion colague, and with his help we made a list of names for weekdays and months in russian.
In total there are 12 different forms to write those names, all depending on where it's used and the combination of other day/month names.
You would use different forms if you say "from monday 1st. to monday 14st." and "between monday 1st. to monday 14st.".

So it seems there should be more date-repressentation types to select from the xoops-core.

The structure of this appears to be the same for most slavic languages, but some chatolic contries may differ.

I hope the below list will give the core-developers some information about the needs if XOOPS should support all languages.

I also hope some people who understands russion will help making this more understandable.

Thanks for the nice words, Vargr.

There turned out to be alot more to coding a module then I had anticipated at first. And I didn't find so much information about how to code one.
For this reason I started making a skeleton module, so that I could explore the different posibilities of xoops.
I'll release that module when I'm done, and understand more of the system. (It will be usefull to others!)
The basic functionality of the language-hack is almost done, I just need to make a propper module for it.
