Two start pages ... possible?

I currently use a static page powered by TinyContent as my startup page. However, I would like to be able to use that as the startup page for anonymous users, and then have another start page (News) once they log in ... the idea being taking registered users straight to the News page to see any updated information.

Does that make sense at all? It does to me, which is kind of scary. Is it possible?

No this is not possible, because you can only define ONE module as your startmodule. This will be the startmodule for EVERY usergroup.

What you can do is, creating a custom block which can be made visible only to anonymous users, so registered users won't see it.

Or leave the start page blank and create 2 custom blocks for the center, 1 only permed for anonymous, 1 permed for the registered users. This gives you a lot of flexibility about who see what. For example, the webmasters might want to see all of the blocks that everyone else sees.
