Hello. I'd like to know how to make translations of AgendaX work.

I've followed the instructions inside the module but they did not worked out.

It says that you have to translate a file inside /locale/ln_LN/LC_MESSAGES/agendax.po (ln = language)

But I did translate this file and also the files inside language/your.language

and it not worked out


I need to make it work for portugues.do.brasil language

I've tried his pack but nothing happend.. (still in english)

His pack has an extra file inside portugues.do.brasil folder, called pt-BR.inc.php


I tried to just replace the files inside the /language/english with the portuguese ones, but also nothing changed!

Please, if you have already made AgendaX work in you language tell me how!

Agenda-X uses PHP extension gettext for i18n if it is available, in this case your should have your agendax.po compiled to agendax.mo

with gettext utility msgfmt, ex unix cmd:

msgfmt -x agendax.mo agendax.po

If your PHP doesn't have gettext extension installed, Agenda-X uses its own gettext function, in this case only the agendax.po file is necessary.

wjue, I have the agendax.po translated but does not work,

I tried to use a agendax.mo (zh) and the text changed, but only ??? appeard at the website. (this may show that only a mo file will work here)


I think I may have to set up a agendax.mo in portuguese, but I cant use the msgfmt utility in my server.
