Howdy folks. I'd like to say that XOOPS owns. One of the best if not the best webdog around. :)

I have an issue with my forum on my site

When I try and post on the forum, it shows a blank screen only. I can view older post but I cannot post anything new. can someone point me into the right direction as to how I can fix this issue? I have it set up for annon posting as well so no one would have to just register it.

Anyone have any idea at atll? I've even removed the forum and post completely and started over and its still a no go. Are there any other Forum Modules for XOOPS 1.3.9 out there I can dl and try even? Ive searched but have come up empty. Appreciate any effective feedback. Thanks alot in advance.

For those that may be suffering from a similar problem, the cause was the shoutbox module. There are two current workarounds for the module

1. disable the "smiley bar" for the shoutbox block. (System -> Blocks -> "Edit" on the shoutbox block)

2. change the following line in /modules/newbb/include/forumform.inc.php
