Help to import database

Here comes a noob question.

I'm moving one of my sites to a new host. But I having problems to import the database (using phpmyadmin).

The problem is: The host have already created a database. But I can't import it because there is already
a database with the same name. (see pic below).

I have also tried to rename the database and tried to import it again. But then i got a permission error. This because
the host only let me have 1 database:

So any sugesstions? Is there is a way to just import the tables from the database?

1) You can import tables via SQL to you existing database (assuming that it's empty)

2) You can change your Host, so you have more than only one database allowed

No, the only requirement is that the tables have a different name. This can be easily obtained by having the 'right' prefix.

Your backup file probably has at the start a statement to create the database. You can edit the file and comment it out. That way the tables will be added to your existing database.

Thanks, guys. It worked for me to select just the tables and export it to a sql file.

Use a host that allows you to have control over your own databases.

http://www.UltranetDomains.com comes to mind.
