How did they do that?? My Download Hack ???

Hello,

if you look at this website:
http://www.islamacademy.com/modules/mydownloads/

you will see that each download that is listed has a place for the speakers name, the language, a download link, a sperate streaming link, etc... which is PERFECT for media downloads. How did they do that?? How can I do that? I searched for such a module but to no avail, please help. Thanks

Maybe post a question via their Contact Us form?

Let us know if you find out where/how they got the module. It looks very good.

just change the translation of lang files then edit your download template

Well they are running something call Visit.php to start up their audio file.

I'm using Zina but it doesn't look as sleek as theirs.

i dont see anything hacked.. only a change in the lang vars..

It does not look like a hack. They customized their site to just put MP3's and Audio files as downloads. They then changed the icon of the 'Supported Platform' field to place the name of the speaker of the audio files.

Some changes in the language files may have been done for uniformity. Language constants are in /language/english/main.php.

Nice site, though.

Thanks for that info. That certainly make it more clearer to me now.

Does anyone know how they managed to make the MP3 files play (ie streaming audio) instead of coming up with a "Save file" message?

I think you can change the mime headers for content-disposition from "attachment" to "inline".

This is discussed in relation to PDF files in a different module in this thread... it should give you some hints, though it is for a different module. It will at least tell you what to look for.
