I'm trying to have my logo aslong as my page. Is there away to make this work?

Do you really mean "as long" or do you mean as wide??? I assume IF you mean as wide and that you are using the top panel, try setting your logo width to 100%

Or you can have a table with three cells: the left cell contains your logo, the center cell's width is set to 100% and has a cool looking background image that tiles, and the right cell has another image.

This may also depend on how wide your resolution is, how wide your logo is, and how wide your theme is.

What is the url of the site you are working on? Is there a banner at the top as well? If so you will have to remove that.

Yes, you will have to remove the banner unless the logo is a table background. I'd like to see the site as well, it might give us a better idea of what advice to give you.

it's hard to give design help if people can't see what your trying to work with. there is a million and 1 ways to put a logo on the top of a page. depending on the theme your using it can be very simple or not so simple todo. give us an address to see so we can give more input.
