well... the site I had before was yearssss ago & am afraid to use anythingfrom back then on my new site. Now... Im running the newest 2.3.3 or something & before... Im willing to bet I was running version 1. something lol.
Anyway... I was thinking... back then... the scrolling things were in a template & I just enabled a block.
I looked & cant find any scrolling anything in my new set up.
I had a XOOPS site years ago... and I remember having a few templates that I used. I remember on my front page, having scrolling content...like Latest News Topics...Forum Posts...or something like that. Anyway, now that I have a new site up & running... Id like to have that scrolling block of whatever again.
I just cant figure why it redirects to a Page Cannot be Found error. I say to myself... What do you mean page cant be found?? It was right there!!!... if only for a second! Have you ever heard of this before? Has other members encountered this problem??
Craziest thing Ive ever seen. I have just installed a fresh XOOPS site (for the 5th time)... It goes through complete install... my new site appears for a second & then it automatically goes to a 404 Page not found error! WHAT???
Excellent! Problem solved. Thank You! Now I can sleep a bit, get up in a few hours & continue adding the business entries. 361 of them & I'm on 119! *sigh*
Now to get rid of the Submit a Listing link after clicking on a category. I thought it would be in viewcat.php (and in my thinking, it possibly is) but I cant find it there.
I'm pretty sure you, or someone else, knows where though :)
