i am new user in XOOPS world i just make every thing just like doc. but in the last step :

what that means and all of it is red not green .
i am sorry maybe i am in the wrong place in this site maybe i have to add my problem in other place so don`t mind me plz

No, I think you are at the right place here, it's just a matter of getting the right person to answer you.
Just some questions : Did you (or your host) create a database?
Can you reach your site or not?

ok thanx that u tell me i am on the right place ..

i create the data base by my self from the cpanal , and when i get this red light i thout i will be ok after all that but in next step i add my :

Admin Name
Admin Email
Admin Password
Confirm Password

then when i wana see my homepage i see nothing just plan site ...

i dunno what i have to do :(

Ok, I don't know hat exactly went wrong, but when I read the above, then I see that XOOPS could not make tables in your database. So I have to guess now and will ask some questions :
Did you fill in the right name and password for the database?
If this is wrong install again.
Did you read the instructions that go with the packkage and chmodded all the directories?

The installation document is pretty clear, I think, so I suspect you have a problem with your connection details. Go back and make sure you have all your details correct |db_name| user_name| host| password| directory paths| etc. these are critical for successful installation.

Have you used this db before for any other scripts? If so that's fine so use the same connection details.

Try again when you have these details checked

also if u have the right database names and password etc.. you might have a lil problem like i had, when i changed to a new host..

the host worked fine as localhost on my old server, but refused to work on the new 1, i had to type the full database host url into the host and not use localhost
