what can a moderators do?
edit ,add or delete post?
reorganize forum?

can i restrict them from entering the admin area?

With default settings, newBB forum moderators are thread moderators, i.e they can move, delete, lock, unlock, make sticky the threads in their forum/categories. They do not have individual post moderator rights.

However, a simple hack is available to allow moderators to edit and delete individual posts. Do a search for "NewBB Moderator Hack".
