I really like the idea of this module.

I followed the instructions & setup an account GoogleAlert & setup 3 alerts and made sure that Feed settings are set to RSS 2.0 as per your instructions.

Modified the config.php & made sure that the whole cache directory is writeable however when I click the Lykos Googled link in the User Menu, I get no results. The module is coming up properly, there's just no data...

Any ideas?

Sure do ---

allow_url_fopen = On

When I run the module with debugging turned on, I get the following which I doubt is the issue but thought I'd bring it up.

Quote:

OK for the first part.

Re second, there are not fatal warnings there, so that should not be a problem.

Forgot to mention in the text, i think the array of Google feeds goes from 0 to 2, not 1 to 3. Which are you using?

I didn't thin the notice smeant anything but thought I'd throw it out just in case....

I've tried 1, 2, & 3. Just set it to 0 & cleared my cache & same results....

I am assuming that this is supposed to update googlealert.xml -- the date & time stamp on that file are from when I installed the module.

Just to be sure, I uninstalled the module & reinstalled it & still same results.

"I didn't thin the notice smeant anything but thought I'd throw it out just in case.... "

always good

"I am assuming that this is supposed to update googlealert.xml -- the date & time stamp on that file are from when I installed the module. "

Correct

If you have made the directory writeable, try deleting the googlealert.xml

I take it you have tried the remote feed manually, to check that there is content in there?

You are the man --- deleting the googlealert.xml took care of the issue!

Thanks
