The joys of a newbe (story of my life) - Does anyone use the Discography Mod? Nothing on the mod works for me. I can add a bio and that is it. no pics, lyrics, links or any other features that are seen on the developers site. When a link is added on the discography I get :

http://radiodevil.com/webradio/modules/cdbase/<a%20href="http://larryedoff.com"%20target="_blank">http://larryedoff.com</a>

obviously it is adding my website in front of the artists website. I host an Internet Radio site with XOOPS (RadioDevil.Com and would love to get this mod working.

Also off the topic what is the best way to back up a site? I would love to back the site up before I add new mods that might mess the site up.

Im using the discography module, and seem to have it working ok, I guess. I can add lyrics and such.

Great Looking Site! On your Disc admin side does it give you the option to list discs and songs? mine only has image, link, bio, and like artists. I also visited the developers site a couple of weeks ago and contacted but no response.

Yeah, it allows you to add the artist first, then after you add the artist, you click on the artist name to add the album, then click on the album name to add in tracks.

And thanks for the comp on the site! Its been a Work in progress for the past month, and we are still updating stuff on it. I still have to get updated bio's on everyone. Im using CJContent for the bio's.

I hope this helps out some....

OK I got it now, that has helped a lot! it never occured to me to click on the artist name and it would take me to another form. guess i assumed that on the "add artist" screen that was all the fields that were available. BIG thank you!

BTW my site is an Indie Radio Station - there is a small processing fee to be broadcasted, however for your band i will wave that if you would like to submit some music. you can check the site at www.radiodevil.com if this is something you want to do email me at info@radiodevil.com and I will send you the direct link to the form.

Great! Glad you got it working! We are still in the process of getting our set list togeather, and when we get a demo cd cut, I will submit the mp3's to your site for your review. Thanks for the offer, and again, glad you got the module working!
