Removing "Home" link from the Main Menu

Is it possible to remove the Home link from the main menu? and other links such as FAQ but still have them function? I'd like to use my own menu in the header for this question.

For the 'home' link you'll have to edit the main menu block template at the system admin -> templates pages.

For disabeling the FAQ module menu entry, just go to system admin -> modules -> set the weight of the modules you wish to 'hide' in the main menu to '0'. This will have them function as normal, but have no menu entry.
