Hi,

I'm considering to start a new XOOPS-powred site to promote my online affiliate business. I was told that in order to be search engine friendly, it is vital to build a key word focused, high value content page.

But I have a question regarding how exactly major Search Engines work. Since our content (as well as key words, and other metab stuff) are mostly in database. If you just take a look at our index.php or index.html, there is not much stuff there.

Most sample pages that my upline leader send me are plain old html.

My question is, if I build the pages through XOOPS with exactly the same content as the html version, will the search Engine rank them the same or little diferently?

I guess the same question also apply to nuke, postnuke or any other CMS.

And I have a question regarding how exactly major Search Engines work.

Maybe it's silly question, but asking is better no knowing...

Thanks in advance.

Shide
