Is there anyway to resize the centercolumn part of the themes? You know, where the edit profile and all the main content goes? I have a left and right columns also, and the centercolumn keeps overlapping the right column. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you using Internet Explorer 5.X ? If so, have a look at this thread for the problem and some solutions.

Also, check out the Wiki, there's an annotated guide to the default CSS in there, you should be able to find the bit you want to change pretty easily.

Yeah, I tried some of those things. I actually set my table with to the exact size, instead of percentages. It didn't work. Thanks for the advice though.

Hmmm...I had to reduce the percentage down to 90% in some themes to stop the problem.

However, if you still can't fix it, you could upgrade your browser (IE 6 is ok, or Mozilla etc...just anything but IE 5 :)

99.9%

of the time it's that the tables should be set to 99.9%!

Check the css and the thme.html
unless of course you have a specified width...

I tried that too. I tried 99%, 90%, and nothing seems to work. It's driving me nuts. lol. When I view my source on each page, I see table tags that I didn't set too.

96% worked pretty well for me (90% made it way too narrow--especially in Netscape 7.1). I also set the left column to " vertical-align: left" and that seemed to straight up the 2nd level menu items. And since the whole page was still noticibly narrower, I added " border-right: 1px solid #cccccc" to the right column (this shows up in Netscape, but not in IE 5.5). [BTW, I did this in themes/default/style.css, xoops2.0.6. Also, per jayjay's suggestion, I had previously added this code to the xoops.css in the root directory:

td
{
font-size: 11px;
}

That lowered the font-size in IE 5.5 (view text medium) to about the same size as in Netscape 7.1 (view text 100%).
