This has got me stumped. I know how to update modules. I've also clicked Yes in Preferences/Main/General Settings/Update module template .html files . . . .

You also have to go to your templates_c folder and delete all the files in it. That is your site's cache folder and it will only show what's in that folder on your site if you don't delete the files in it.

Thanks CBlue. Alas, your suggestion did not work.

Then try going to system admin, click preferences and then general settings. Look for "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" and click yes. Then hit go button at the bottom of the page. Then go back to the general settings and that same option and click no. Hit go button again and see if that worked.

edited to add: I just noticed you said you did this in your first post but did you remember to go back and change it to no?

Yup. I did but not in concert with flushing the cache files. I'll give it another try. Thanks for the suggestions!

I sure hope this works! You could also try re-uploading the theme.html and then immediately going to the templates_c folder and deleting all files in it.

CBlue,

As usual it was something ridiculously simple. I was putting the footer graphic in the wrong directory. Thanks for your help and sorry for being so stupid.

Should the file templates_c/index.html be deleted too?

It contains the single line:

<script>history.go(-1);script>

no don't delete that file. it is there to redirect visitors who try to view the contents of that directory.
