How can i redirect my domain name to the news module ??
eg:
i would like to redirecthttp://testing.com/ tohttp://testing.com/module/news.

For your information i am using CPanel. Anywan i can do that using it ??

I don't know why you need to redirect it when you can make the News module your start page. Go to your Admin Menu -> System Admin -> Preferences -> General Settings and choose your start page from there.

The best way to do a simple redirect, IMHO, is to put an index.php file in your base directory with Quote:
header("Location:http://testing.com/module/news");
You might want to add the "Permanent redirect" code too:
header("HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently");

Or you might simply set News as your start module

I think the first reply was the most accurate for this problem, since it isn't about redirecting to somewhere else, but to a specific module within the site - which is covered by the start page in the general preferences.
