While installing XOOPS 2.0.5 onto Mac OS X 10.3.1, I got message:

check path & URL

Could not detect the physical path to your XOOPS directory.
Virtual path is a valid URL.

The server path to your XOOPS root directory: /Users/dietcoke/Sites/snack
URL to your XOOPS root directory:http://localhost/~dietcoke/snack

*************************
I did ignored this message and installed, seems normal but only module I can access was System Admin. The list where should be shown modules only list the System Admin and the 2nd list shows nothing.

Anyone installed 2.0.5 onto Mac OS X 10.3.1? Thanks.

If the only module you can access is the system after a fresh install, maybe it's because you haven't installed any other modules yet?

Yes, I have installed nothing.

At System Admin => Modules, I guess there should be two tables, however, all I can see is System within a table which shows Module Version, Last Update, Active. Order, (0 = hide) and Action.

There is another column which only shows Module, Version and Action below the Submit button. I think here should be some modules?

Yes there should be quite a few more modules there such as Forum and polls. If they aren' appearing there, you might want to redo your installation.

check the actual XOOPS files you've downloaded and are using for your install. Inside the modules folder should be the modules themselves. If they aren't there, then try downloading the files again.

Made PHP debugging mode to on and found where the problem was! Some files are set as write only
