Hello everyone, Here I am installing the xnews 1.71 modules on my new xoops 2.5.10 site and everyone knows, go ahead, jet creates my various categories no worries when I create a new one it does not display it and yet it tells me "Thank you for your contribution" I understand nothing if anyone has already hu cares. thank you.

In Debug mode mode, its data is ;

You can ignore these notifications!

But since News is not actively developed anymore, I would suggest to migrate to Publisher, which can import News information.

I've made some updates to the News module, so if you're interested, you can test the 1.72 Beta 4 version, but you might need the upcoming XOOPS 2.5.11 version

But again, I would suggest to migrate to Publisher

I installed the news module 1.72 Beta 4, on my new xoops 2.5.10 site but when I create a news it does not appear and yet it says "Thank you for your contribution" for which the publication does not appear.

You might need the upcoming XOOPS 2.5.11

Can you download it and test it with the News 1.72 Beta 4, and let me know if it works?

Are you using xNews or news? These are different modules...

Since you're using xNews, I did some cleanup there, so if you want to test it, please do so with the version 1.72 Beta-1:

But please be aware that this is not tested, so expect some bugs, but feel free to report them here.

There might be a problem with the time settings, i.e. the article is there, but will appear in few hours.

When you create a new article, make sure that:
a) you set the permissions correctly, i.e. that you can actually view the article
b) the date/time is correct.

You might try to set the publish date to yesterday, to make sure that it works. Once it works, then you can change the publishing date to whatever you wanted.
