Hi i downloaded the latest version in github wggallery 1.14 RC1 for testing

when installing i received this error

Failed to execute xoops_module_pre_install_wggallery

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.10
PHP Version 5.6.40
mySQL Version 5.7.29

Hi Goffy ,

Here https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=364653 I read in XOOPS system each module can set own notification system/options.

I also read comments can be added in this option.

It could be possible to get such chance in wggallery module ?

Hi Pino

this is already implemented.
Notifications are linked to specific event happening in wgGallery (e.g. if you want to be notified if someone creates a new album).
Comments you can also activated for images.
You have to check module preferences.

Or did you mean something different?

you're right , maybe notifications were disabled after upgrading.

Oooops ,

sorry again : I wanted to say that the need is to have a notification when A COMMENT is ADDED ... it is true that all the other options are provided, but it does not seem to me that this one is foreseen ...

But from the mamba post, that I linked upper, this seemed to me an option that can be activated.

no, do do not get notification about comments, but you can activate the block for last comments :)

it is not what I needed, but I will look for a solution that comes as close as possible to this need; thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Goffy, Publisher has an option in Preferences to be notified when somebody has added or submitted a comment to an article.

I didn't test it if it works, but if it's in publisher, then I assume that it should be possible in wgGallery too.
