Check your php.ini, look for the directive:

upload_max_filesize 2M

Ensure the filesize is set large enough to accomodate your images. I think 2Mb is the default (used to be 8).

I have numerous test sites and it failed on a site with 1gb upload but this is all very silly as the file is only just over 1mb....

Marty

The only reason I can think of that it works for you in some methods but not for me is that maybe I don't have the latest files. I've read through all the posts and branched posts but I may have missed something.

Mamba, could you post a link to the absolute latest zip?

I think, it has more to do with your configuration. But try the latest version just to make sure.

The latest version is in XOOPS SVN.

Cheers,
Marty.

There could be not enough memory on your server, or wrong set up in your php.ini. Try to increase the amount of memory there, and see if it has any impact.

Hi Mamba, it was the "memory_limit 32MB". I changed this to 64MB and all works perfectly now.

Thanks for your help, this was really doing my head in lol

Cheers,
Marty.

Ok, now it's not working and I'm not sure it was fully working when I replied above ^^

I changed the memory_limit to 64M and file_max_upload to 250M and restarted apache and now I get this error:
Error during upload :
Unable to move uploaded file

I've now gone back to default php.ini, restarted apache cleared browser and website cache and I still have the same error above with any picture small or large.

Any ideas what has happened?

Cheers,
Marty.

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.6
PHP Version 5.3.27
mySQL Version 5.5.32-cll
eXtGallery 1.12

I've created a parent category and then added 10 child (sub) categories within that parent category.

I then uploaded pics to the child (sub) categories.

Then I added a thumbnail to the parent category and thumbnails to the child (sub) categories.

The thumbnails to the child (sub) categories click through fine no problems :) but the thumbnail for the parent category link looks like this and doesn't work:
http://#####.com/modules/extgallery/puPicsblic-categories.php?id=17

If I click the child (sub) category title "link" it takes me to the album as desired but if I click the thumb nail I get an error page.
Not Found

The requested URL
/modules/extgallery/puPicsblic-categories.php was not found on this server.

Additionallya 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? And how do we fix this?

Cheers,
Marty

Something is wrong with the tying there!

Is it really "puPicsblic-categories" ?

It should be "public-categories"

Try to search for it in the code and correct it.
