Re: XOOPS SVN has moved!

Who wrote this dodgy version of newbb, no wonder so many people are commenting to me lately that they can only seem to get XForum to work properly on the latest versions of XOOPS...

I even when my profile says to attach this signature it doesn't what git removed that version..

btw. Have you ever tried to register a domain and cause it is out of your domain or someone in another IP farm owns it or your not an extraterrestrial..

Come on, Simon, the fact that you were able to post this message here shows that NewBB is working just fine on XOOPS 2.5.5

A few of the features I'd like to see is an API that allows:

- 'remote' posting / reading of issues. A 'normal' XOOPS user (or admin) should not have to create a separate account on SVN, git, etc. to be able to post a bug report
- retrieval of some 'useful' metrics
- retrieving information about activity (RSS, ATOM, JSON, etc. would be useful)

Whether it's from SVN, git, etc. Currently Sourceforge provides very little ability to interact with the SVN.

posting issues is not because of newbb. Protector block posts. Also sometimes the xoops security token system is invalid.
I investigate XForum a little and it is just a bad copy of newbb 4 earlier versions. get a diff and see yourself.
Currently i debug newbb and all bugs are exist in XForum too. see the SVN irmtfan branch for bugs. there is a detailed changelog:
http://svn.code.sf.net/p/xoops/svn/XoopsModules/newbb/branches/irmtfan/newbb/changelog-rev10109.txt

IMO it would be better if developers just focus on one version and debug it instead of releasing new versions with new names but with the same code and structure and very few changes.
