Smallworld and XIM - features not working

I am developing a site for a local charity organisation.
I want to use both Smallworld and Xim modules as part of the this as it will provide the base wanted for group support etc.

Smallworld runs fine until I enable Xim. When I type into the 'Search by username or realname' box the script does not run and no results appear. With XIM disabled this works no problem at all.

XIM seems to mostly work but the chat box buttons don't always.

I wonder if the Jquery in my chosen theme is causing the issue.

I have tried all the steps in the help file for both modules.

Any ideas / suggestions?

I've just updated to Xoops 2.5.5 and still the same issue remains.
Also tried the default theme just in case the Jquery of the theme was the cause but still the same.

Really want to use both these modules as I think they are great! (well done to the developers).

I can get the project running with Smallworld at the moment but it would be fantastic to be able to have XIM running alongside.

Hey Alanbax and thanks for wanting to use xim and smallworld.

A few months ago I made some changes to Xim since it was a bit unstable with theme jquery or in a single case running along side another module using jquery (dont remember) wich.

I would really like to monitor the modules running in some way. Could you send me a link ?

I have posted an update to both xim and smallworld here

I've just finished testing and all seems well.

Both modules are now running well.

Thanks again man.
Those updates seem to have fixed the xim issue I was having after upgrading to 2.5.5.

I'll post any issues as they occur.
The more I know, the more I know that I really didn't wanna know.
